I MAY be about to engage in sacrilege.
I have an opportunity to trade a piece of spare radio gear for a Nikon D70 with the stock 35-70 and 70-300 lenses along with a wicked nice 60mm Macro f/2.8D.
I HAVE a Canon Rebel XT with the stock 28-90, a Tamron 70-300, Tamron 17-35, and a 55-250 with IS.
What are the opinions on Canon vs Nikon at this level? (6-8 MP)

Go nikon. there cheep stuff is nice canons cheep stuff is well cheep. if your a pro and cant afford to not spend money then you should go Canon and get there high end stuff. for me it is not worth shooting crappy glass. but i dont have the cash to spend on high end either.
ReplyDeleteyou can get a good balance on the nikon stuff.
My gripe about Nikon is you have to spend money on the body to get adiquate low light autofocus. but that is probably just a fact of life. and I am terminally cheep.
